what is happening to our world nowadays?earthquake,flood,drought,tsunami...
in fact the small town of segamat is in the news for the wrong reason:flood.flood in this magnitude has never happened before(as in 80 years before accordin to those who live to a ripe old age).after a few days of rain,normali,the river aka sungai segamat always always *before* reached the new bridge n old bridge before receedin *but it does not happen now*
for a few days,segamat is in a crisis or emergency situation with military or army dispatching help n helicopter goin about *rescuing people*.though it never reach to any serious condition,food*a lot of shops r closed or sold out of food* n water*mineral water* are quite hard to come by especiali in some parts where water n electricity r cut off.
segamat reali looks like hit by tsunami,for a few days the town looks like ghost town.
this time we really need to watch the pace of our development.catastrophe or natural disasters serve as a wake up call.is this flood really trying to tell us something?it is kind of weird that this flood happened after the new shoplots are built by the river bank?could it be?
i read in newspaper somewhere that the government has given out warning that there will be flood but i didn't recalled reading it in newspaper or watching it in news *maybe i m not tat detailed in reading one article after another or watched or listen attentively at the news as i prefer tv shows compared to news which sometimes i skipped altogether bcos there are jus not enough things to attract my attention,did i reali miss it?*
global warming,deforestation,landslide,etc etc we read it,we discuss it,we write about it,we do projects on it,did we reali do anything to prevent it?did politicians strive to make our development environment friendly?did activists protest again n again to protect the earth?in the 80's,did the hippies do more than us?flower power,anyone?
it's time we pay attention.we hav to contribute our bit back.small stuff do count alot when u accumulate it together*sikit-sikit lama lama jadi bukit*.not in major scale but just by paying attention on how we can help is enough. i do not try to be an expert or something bcos i m not,i do not pretend to be a know-it-all as humans also hav limited abilities,i have my flaws n faults also.we can't point fingers at anyone or any reasons deemed acceptable either,maybe these natural disasters r caused by other reasons,something we do not know or maybe it's jus plain 'the grand almighty' doin.it's beyond our control or is it in our control?so much questions,so much revelations...

looking back

looooooong looooong holidays....
first happiness,
then boredom when everything is done,
later serious 'i miss tis n tat' feeling,
lookin back,all the memories,
especiali in intec,
the joy,
the sufferings we endure,
jus to do our best in exams,
the complains...
why do we need to study?
why can't we just have fun?
we r still young rite?
but reality check,
we aren't young anymore

working life ain't fun either,
u will only know when u started workin,
when workin,u hav to be serious,
cannot do any mistakes,
tired but still have to smile,
bad mood?no way, u can't let it show,
suddenly studying is so much better,
at least i m in control of wat i want to do,
so enjoy while u can!

we are more mature as days passed,
hopefully we are gaining more experience as days passed,
gain more knowledge,
learn to be a better person,
& be successful in whatever we do,
be it pharmacists or doctors...

5 months had passed..

this is my A Level timetable..

the keep smiling stamp is renly's job.. she stamped it all over the papers on my board..

so the smiling face really has the power to brighten up me when i became frustrated with study..

and "remember to take exam slip!" = bcs i'm very forgetful.. so have to remind myself..hehe

it's so excited to draw the line.. one after one..

it's torturing when we realised we cant finish study within the limited time..

but one enter the exam hall and u can pour everything u know in the paper, it's a great pleasure..=P

today is 27 nov.. 5 months had passed after exam.. wat u all had done during this period??

for me, i wish i can do something better, something more meaningful, more memorable.. sigh..

clouds..

recently fall in love with clouds..

look at the blue sky filled with different shapes and sizes of clouds..

when wind blows, they move.. then overlap each other..the motion is so slow, so gentle..

contrasting the hectic life nowadays..

sometimes really have to slow down the pace, look around, see wat's happening..

how often can u see the scenery as in the picture?? for me, hardly..

living in a city.. working in a mall, i almost forgot how the clouds look like..

Here I am,using property of KLIA, the stupid digital connect thing, which the connection is so so slow...anyway just want to say hi, coz i m sick of waiting, the flight is on 1.15 a m and now its just bout 12....time crawls like a snail, erm....hey does a snail crawls? it's all about the name...

a blog by us,for all of us...
as tis is our brain child,so we (it's no brainer!!!) knew tat we mus hav a name for it(who doesn't name their children?) n boy(it's a girl! for tis blog=p), we had a hard time decidin.the title is finali decided when we brainstorm in chatroom aka msn for a few days on...with each o us in diffn places(johor,penang,selangor,sarawak) (comprisin of cucu,weiluen,cyik,adelin n irene)we can't reali settle on a single name,we wanted smtng general,smtng tat sounds noblish,smtng tat doesn't sound depressing(stairway to hell,anyone?hehe)some more we keep explainin,keep misinterpretin each other,keepin each other confused all the time,make things so complicated finali cyik suggested pharmer coz we r goin to take pharmacy course n to make it a better soundin name we combine pharmer n madicine together as suggested by adelin.y madicine?well instead of medicine,we put it in a diffn spelling so tat it's unique in a way n well obviously medicine is quite 'mad' also......by the end of the discussion we got a very long winded name tat is unique(n we r proud o it!) but aso damagin to brain as cucu said'hard to remember'....btw it's quite hard to set up a blog without havin its name being used already.(pharmacy n medicine is quite common...)
why we put pharmer first instead of madicine?(though many regard medicine more important than pharmacy blah blah blah) reason:as we all knu,food is very important to oneselves,so tat's where farmers come in.farmers plant vegetables n paddy(rice) for us to eat(all vegetarians agree???).medicine is useless without food rite?even when we wan to eat a simple panadol,we hav to eat smtng first to prevent gastric...so prevention is better than cure.food is the first step in prevention(watch too much jewel in the palace)=p
we aso got alot of headache about the password...after more discussion(more yakking) finali we settled on one, courtesy of cucu(so she's our miss password!)
after all tis problems n false starts,so weiluen took the first step by settin up the yahoo mail,with each o us checkin it out to giv it the much needed approval,then cyik set up the blog after gettin advice from adelin(thru msn again!) (while blindly goin thru every step) n again everyone sign in to check it out n......thankfully weiluen is always there to save the day!haha,he added all the extra stuff on tis blog...hopefuli he can design a new template for this,weiluen we r countin on u!
